The Request Fulfillment Manager must be involved in the planning for handing over the Access Management process (along
with the Client and new service provider) to identify all tasks and actions necessary for a smooth transition of the
Access Management process to the Client or other service provider. This should include the items to be handed over,
deadlines for each handover activity, and the resources responsible for handover activity.
Any deviation should be identified and corrective actions should be planned and executed. During the Transition
Handover-Out phase, there could be a few open access requests. Such outstanding requests should be handed over to the
concerned team appropriately and the Client should be kept informed on the same. An Access Management Handover Report
should be prepared, summarizing the Access Management handover.
During the Transition Handover-Out phase, one of the important tasks to be completed is to archive all relevant
documents and records. The Request Fulfillment Manager should ensure that all documents and records are archived and
stored in a repository for future purpose.
The Engagement Manager should obtain Client sign-off on the access handover activities which confirms the formal
closure of Access Management process.
